| YOUR POSITION: | Northwestern Mutual is a FORTUNE 500 company with about 7,000 financial representatives in the U.S. operating out of 350 offices. I am the Director of Recruitment for Northwestern Mutual - The South Florida Group, joining the organization in December of 2011. My goal is to attract and select talented, successful individuals to a career in financial services. Our financial representatives work to provide planning assitance to clients in the areas of risk management, wealth accumulation, wealth preservation and distribution. |
| PROFESSIONAL HISTORY: | I have my bachelor's degree from the University of Central Florida in Psychology and my MBA in Human Resource Management from Nova Southeastern University. I started my professional career working for Enterprise Rent-a-Car as a managment trainee. I then moved on to a customer service support role with Audi of Coral Springs. With the knowledge and experience I gained working for two large organizations, I moved into a role as a recruiter for Nova Southeastern University's H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship. I spent four years working to increase enrollment to graduate business programs, specifically managing the MBA in Finance, MBA in Entrepreneurship, and the Master of Science in Real Estate Development programs. I was then recruited by a fellow NSU alumni in December of 2011 to become the Director of Recruitment for Northwestern Mutual - The South Florida Group. My goals this year are to attract and select 55 new financial representatives and 38 college interns to our organization. I have also recently joined the board for UCF's Alumni Association Southeast Florida Chapter as the events chair for broward county. I am also a member of Emerge Broward, HRABC, and SHRM. |
| PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: | I am looking to expand my network by creating mutually beneficial relationships with successful business people in my community. I would like to leverage my network and experience to be able to assist others in their endeavors while at the same time meeting high quaility individuals to share our career opportunity with. If not directly for those I meet, for the opportunity to get introduced to people they know who may be a good fit. |
