||Kardon Technology is a division of Kardon Group, a 15 year old IT company. I am one of 5 employees. My position is Business Development, and I have been with the company for a year and a half.
||I have worked in customer support sales related position with more than 20 years experience in the finance and lending industries, have a solid foundation in Operations Management, and have worked with multiple facets of retail and corporate operations. As a result, I am comfortable dealing with people from multiple backgrounds. At 49 years old, this level of customer awareness, a strong work ethic, commitment to do what is required to meet established goals, and pride to surpass expectations has contributed to my success and earned the respect of clients, peers, and management.
I have been involved with networking groups for years and held Volunteer and Board positions with several groups. I currently sit as a Co-Chair with the Decatur Business Association and am the Key Club Programs Chair with my local Kiwanis Chapter.
||Technology is a quickly developing industry and hard to follow. Options can be confusing. Being a service company, we seek to educate and assist business owners. My position as Business Development includes coordinating the posting of our weekly blogs, updating social networking sites with pertinent reprints and distributing an informative monthly newsletter.
We try to align our services with other industries that support operations of small businesses; companies that align with the base principles of our company. When requests are made, I try to refer at least 3 businesses so that people can compare services, pricing structures and compatibility. Web development, networking administrators and hardware and software distributors are natural referrals. But so are accounting and marketing firms. Following up and meeting with different professionals helps to strengthen my network.
