| AREA OF BUSINESS: | IRS is cracking down on Non-filers and those that are in Non-compliance and Collections. We specialize in Tax resolution and compliance. We also offer tax preparation for business and individuals, help with compliance issues, bookkeeping, business start up, payroll, QB set up and training along with many other accounting services. |
| THE GENERAL LOCATION: | Our IRS Enrolled Agents can practice all over the world with IRS matters, both business and individals. My office is located in NE San Antonio. |
| YOUR POSITION: | As and IRS Enrolled Agent, I started Sherwood Solutions LLC in September of 2011 to fill a void between CPA's and Tax Attorneys. Many CPA's are not equiped or don't want to handle IRS liens, assessments, collections or non-compliance and many (over 95%) of IRS problems are too small for a Tax Attorney. Sherwood Solutions fills that void to help the average taxpayer that got into a little trouble at a fraction of the cost of a tax attorney. Prior to starting Sherwood Solutions, I worked with many CPA firms for 20 years, helping taxpayers structure their business and books for the best tax benefits, as well as tax preparation. |
| PROFESSIONAL HISTORY: | IRS Enrolled Agents are one the IRS's best kept secrets. Unlike CPA's and Tax Attorney's, which are liscensed by the state in which they practice, IRS Enrolled Agents can practice all over the world. IRS Enrolled Agents are required by the US Treasury to pass an extensive four day tax law and applications test and maintain 30 CPE credits a year (it's like never getting out of school!! With the way tax laws change, it's not that bad!). We help people that don't know where to go, or where to start when tax problems arise. |
| PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: | We are seeking to help individual professionals and business owners with financial organization to find their best state and federal tax benefit for them and their business. We offer tax preparation, help with tax resolution, offers in compromise, compliance issues, assessments, business formation, payroll and bookkeeping. We also work with CPA's and Tax Attorney's on settling tax issues for their clients. |
