NFP co-founder, Amanda Nissman, was on hand to host Shakers and Stirrers and she took the time to capture the scene. Check out some pictures from the event, below. We all know that first impressions count, and when you've got between 10 and 15 first impressions to make in one evening, you've gotta make it count over and over again. Believe me, anyone who's been to one of our High Speed Networking events knows all about making it count. On April 13, NYC professionals converged on The Galway Hooker Pub in Midtown Manhattan, armed with their best elevator pitch and a handful of business cards. They participated in a series of lightning-fast 4-minute introductions over the course of the evening. NFP co-founder and host for the evening, Amanda Nissman, was there to run the event and capture the scene with her digital camera. I'm just now recovering from our third High Speed Networking event in Chicago and I'm pleased to report it was a smashing success! Here's what our fans had to say: "Great event!" -- Ben "Sima, thanks for the great event last night. I made some high-quality connections and I'd love to help put the word out about the next one you do!" -- Kate "The event last night was amazing. Talk about high energy! I talked to 18 people and have 3 possible leads for my business. Who knows what will come of it, but definitely worthwhile no matter what happens." -- Beth "Thank you so much for the great event. I've been to many networking events and only a few of them had any value. Most of them just bear the name of "networking" and actually have nothing to do with helping people meet each other. Great format, great moderators, lots of fun. ...
